I spent last weekend in Terre Haute shooting the wedding of an awesome couple.  Danielle and T. J. were really easy to work with and very laid back.  They got married at Trinity Lutheran Church on Ohio Blvd.  And had their reception across the street at the newly renovated Meadows Banquet Hall.  It ended up being a beautiful day, the best Indiana has had so far this year.

Meet Danielle…

and meet T. J.

The build up…

and the delivery!

After all of formal portraits with the bridal party and family, I got some alone time with the newly married couple.  I had them stop and enjoy the moment and think about how special of a time this was.  I’m really happy with how the images turned out, you can really see the love and joy between them.

Danielle and T. J. had more then one reason to celebrate.  The newly created family is about to get bigger.  Danielle made a special request to have some shots done of their unborn child.  This is my favorite!

Danielle’s Grandfather and a couple of his friends played some music during dinner.  They did an awesome job and it added a great personal touch to the whole reception.

The father-daughter and mother-son dances were really emotional.  Melissa, Danielle’s mother, had a slide show set up that coincided with the music and showed pictures of the two when they were younger.  I don’t think any of them left the dance floor with dry eyes.

… T. J.’s slideshow had a lot of pictures from his stay in Iraq.  I don’t even know if those two danced.  I’m pretty sure they just held each other and watched the slideshow.

The mood took a quick turn during the cake cutting.  And a bit of a mess was made.

Congratulations Danielle and T. J.!!!  Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding.  I had a really good time and can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos.
