We were really excited when we found out last year that we’d get to shoot Kate and Scott’s Wedding. Not only are they extremely nice people! but they also enjoy a lot of the same things we do, like being outdoors, cycling and photography! The shoot started at the IMA (also art fans) and continued through their beautiful grounds. It’s one of my favorite places to go, I just wish I could go more often.
Feel the LOVE!

It’s great working with Jennifer. We can get two different angles and ideas from the same pose. Plus, she always catches what I miss and vice versa. Here’s my shot from a particular pose…

and then Jennifer’s view.

Can you guess the date they’re getting married?

We made a stop at tree on Butler’s Campus. Kate’s parents had some pictures taken around the same tree when they were getting married. It’s always nice to shoot at places that are meaningful to the couple.

Our last stop was at Fort Ben on the East side. Kate and Scott are frequent visitors to the park. It’s one of their favorite places to get some cycling in. Which being a cyclist myself, the first thing I thought of when they told me they were into it was Cycling Engagement Photos.
And what’s a Cycling Engagement Shoot if you don’t hang out the back of a car to grab a little motion blur.

Thanks so much Scott and Kate. We really had a lot of fun. We’re looking forward to your Wedding (especially the exit from the Church)!
