We recently went up to Fort Wayne to visit my brother Travis and his family.  Their new son Abram (who’s birth was recently on the blog) was having his baptism.  We got there a little early to shoot some family photos and came close to canceling them because of rain.  But we stuck it out and the rain cleared up just at the time we got to our first destination.

We started on a great bridge near downtown.  The kids loved it.  They were running up and down the length of the bridge and jumping in all of the puddles.  Here’s Cadence enjoying some of the splashing!

Landon was showing off his funny faces.  My favorite is the bottom right.  I can’t help but laugh every time I look at it.

The big man was there too.

…with his adorable “my little buddy” socks!

The girls got together for a few shots.  This was my favorite of them.

And of course the guys.

After playing on the bridge for a while we headed towards the real “Fort” Wayne.  On the way we ran into some trouble.  LOOK OUT!

I’m not sure that Landon has a future in acting (look at his face on the second photo in the slip series above), but I think Cadence might.

The Fort was amazing.  Check out those walls!!!

The houses and barns around it were great too.

The day ended up being perfect.  We got a ton of great shots.  Too many to blog in one post.  So when I get some more time early next week I plan on blogging a “part two” for this shoot.

Thanks Alison, Travis, Landon, Cadence and Abram.  You all were awesome!
