I wish I had something really scary to post right now… but I don’t. In fact there’s really nothing scary about the engagement post of Amberlee and Kirk. The pictures we took of them made me smile really big, not scream. Oh well! I guess if there was one scary thing about the shoot, it would be the terrible wind that blew us around all day! You probably remember the 40 mph winds this past Sunday. Well multiply that by the flat, treeless Attica farm lands.
Attica!!! Yup, that’s where Kirk grew up. And Amberlee… A HAUTIAN!!! WOOO HOOO, I love me some Terre Haute people. We actually went to the same highschool for a couple of years (she was two grades back). She was always super sweet then and nothing’s really changed. Except for now she has a really good man in her life!
Anyway, enough with the setup. Here’s the photos from Amberlee and Kirk’s Engagement Shoot. Enjoy!

Amberlee has the biggest smile. I love it!!!

We were able to find a couple spots out of the wind.

Kirk and his friends used to hang out at this bridge some nights. You could see some empty cans still stuck in the top trusses. We had a good laugh at that!

Jen’s favorite shot!

What!!! Oh, this shoot was so freakin’ cool.

Kirk is a professional diver (not like the ones in the olympics). He said he has three important things in this life: Amberlee, his truck (not pictured) and his diving helmet.

I have to give some credit to Bobbi and Mike. This shot was spun from a pose they use a lot. The “sitting in front of an old car” pose. We took a little different angle on it and I really like how it turned out!

Ah Ha! So all of that nasty wind was for this one shot! And it’s my new favorite Engagement Photo.

The scary part was right here. Because if you scroll up about 5 photos you’ll see what the sky looked like not even a half an hour before the shot below. Now that was scary!

And a quick shout out to their good friend who supplied us the use of their awesome combine and trailer with straw (not hay!!!). This next shot is for you!

Amberlee and Kirk: Thank you two so much for braving the wind. This turned out to be an amazing shoot. You two are awesome! We can’t wait to shoot the wedding!!!
