Denise and Alonzo are having a baby. And we got to invade their house to capture this beautiful moment in their lives. Check out our favorites from their shoot.

Denise is busy crocheting a blanket for their baby girl. How awesome is that.

We had a little too much fun in the window light!

Get comfortable… real comfortable. How hot is this photo!

Besides just being super nice, Alonzo and Denise are hilarious. I think you can see it pretty well in the next few photos!

Great book!

We had to run outside for a few shots before we headed home.

Denise and Alonzo – Thanks again for having us over. We can’t wait to get some photos of your little baby girl!!!

Doing so lets me enjoy the beautiful snowy landscape even more. I always work with the windows open, but the view these past few days has been extra nice. Watching the different colors of pavement, dead grass and unraked leaves disappear under the pure snow. I think I know why I’m able to enjoy it so much. It’s probably because I haven’t spent hours digging out my car to get to work or tried to trample through it… like Jen did this morning.

She didn’t have to dig out her car, but she did walk about a block in the DEEP snow. She was heading down town and decided to car pool with her mother. And to save her mom the trouble of navigating our covered neighborhood streets, she walked across a small field that separates our house from a major, partially cleaned-off road. And yes, she did it with a smile! How cute is she!!!

And for the record… that fence was already broke down.
Enjoy the snow. Let it take you back to a more simple you.
That’s a lot of “A”s!
In one of the more mild days we had in January, Alexis and Andrew were married. It was at the Children’s Museum that I first met the two. We all worked in the same gallery… Puppets! They weren’t dating at the time, but you could kind of tell that at some point they would be where they are now… together forever! Enjoy our favorites from their wedding day.

The group was so fun to be around!

Alexis’ little bro!

We had a little too much fun with the guys portraits.

Alexis and crew sneaking a peek.

Jen’s amazing grab of Alexis and her Dad waiting to walk down.

How beautiful is the State House!!!

My second favorite from the day!

You had to love the fake snow on the dance floor… the children obviously did!

The shoes came off and the dancing got crazy!

I couldn’t leave out the techno/glow sticks portion of the reception.

My favorite photo of the day! Coincidently, also the last photo of the day.

Andrew and Alexis – Thanks again for having us be part of your day. We can’t wait for you two to see the rest of the images. You two Rock!!!

You may not know this… but I’m a bit of green freak. And I don’t normally boast about what we do, but I was really proud of the steps we’ve been taking in the business to make it greener! So when I got an email from my business card company (Greener Printer) about the positive impact they’ve had in 08, I wanted to share it. Check out what they saved!

They produce super high quality and for cheap! You gotta love that! Here’s my card! (100% recycled content, 50% post-consumer waste, processed chlorine-free paper)

They can fulfill all of you paper product needs! Give ‘em a try. I know you won’t be disappointed. They take a lot of care to make sure your product is perfect.
I know! I haven’t blogged much lately… and I apologize. There are a hundred reasons why, but I’m not sure they are good enough reasons. I’ve let you all down.
But I’m a changed man. I promise to blog more often. And to help, Jennifer is whacking my knuckles with a ruler as I type this. OUCH!!! I’m willing to do whatever it takes to be a better blogger! So prepare yourself, the blogs are coming!
We just did a bridal show at Pipers on the south-side and debuted our new setup. If you haven’t ever been to Pipers, you need to go. They are a restaurant and banquet facility in one. And their food is GREAT! The hall is very, very nice also!
So here’s our setup.

We’ve decided that we need to add some lighting and a sign. But besides that, I think we like it!

A couple views of the new, crazy awesome setups that Pipers is offering!!!

The table to the right is where Will (Owner and Head Chef) was cooking up shrimp all day. Yeah, if you missed this show… you really missed out! Better be here next year.

I think this post may put Emily and Ryan on top for most appearances on our blog. But we promise this will be the last time for a while… that is until they start having babies (Natasha told me to say that!). So finally they are back in the United States and ready to have a bash for all of their friends and family that couldn’t make it to Acapulco.
That’s right Linda… this is their second reception!

Holy Candy Bar!!!

The barbershop quartet was back! and rockin’ the house. If you ever need a good barbershop quartet, let me know. I have their contact information.

Both cakes were amazing!!! (provided by Kahn’s Catering)

One of my favorite photos from the evening!

The first dance… or is this the second… I don’t know!

Things did get a little crazy when the music picked up!

The band did their best to cover Sir Mix-A-Lot! They did a pretty good job… but not as good as the ladies did on dancing to it!

These youngens weren’t the entertainment all night, but they did get up to play one song. And yes! he’s really playing that bass guitar. Jen and I thought that was great of the band to let them use their stuff.

Linda was trying to organize a Rockette dance! Nice grab Jen!

And one last beautiful photo of Ryan and myself!!! I’m not really sure what we were doing?
