Well here we go!

You may notice that every picture the Wards have been in (in the past two posts) they’re makin’ out! Seriously get a room!!!

Hey!, when gotta go… you gotta go!!!

See you next week!
That’s right. Just part one of a two part series. Seriously, you try cutting the group down more. It’s really hard when you have such hot clients!
So check ‘em out and let me know what you think.

One of my favorites of all time!… the TCM.

Just for the record, this was the first time I ever shot a photo from the side of the interstate! But I love that you can see Rachael waving!

Haha! I’m lovin’ it!

Part 2… coming tomorrow!
It seems like everyone anymore is just TOO busy! Not enough time in the day for all that needs done. That’s why we were so happy to have some good friends stop by the other day on there way home to Louisville. It was the Althoffs! All four of them (Jen and I need to catch up!). Normally they’re heading home late and need to try and drive straight through, but not this time. They left early enough to stop by our place. And we really enjoyed the visit!!!
Of course if there are little ones running around the house, it’s hard for me not to bring out the camera. So check out some of photos I got while they were here! How cute is Parker!!!

And of course, so is Davin!

Parker is one of the happiest babies I’ve ever seen.

I think he was a little “milk-drunk” after that bottle.

We couldn’t stay inside all afternoon.

Even Parker made it outside for a bit.

And the answer to your question is… YES! I was a little afraid for my lens!

Thanks again Althoffs for stopping by!
We’ve got more best of ‘08 coming tomorrow. So, see you then
So here we are. The one time during a wedding when you can jump through crowds, put the camera right in peoples faces and yell out your favorite song lyrics… and no one cares! Because they’re having too much fun. The best of Dance/Party pics from ‘08… enjoy!!!
I had to start with this one. It probably should have gone in the last post, but since it was a choreographed dance I grouped it here.

The McDonald’s breakin’ it down!

That’s some mean air guitar!!!

Hands… touching Hands!

The infamous chest-bump. Yes, that’s me and my brother Dale!

“More Cowbell!”

We’ll leave you with some “sprinkler!” Be back next week with more from ‘08!

It’s time to show off some of our favorites from the Receptions in 2008. So without further ado…

The T.P. race… winner took head of house hold. Sorry Andrew!

The groom needed a little direction. What are groom’s men for?

A hit and run casualty!

A little T. O. action!

I hope you enjoyed the photos. We’ll finish up the week with the best “Dance/Party” pics. Trust me, those are not to be missed!!!
(We had to take a break from the best of 08 series to bring you our vacation photos, but we’ll be back on track tomorrow with “best of receptions from 08″)
Jen and I are back in town. We had an amazing 4 days in Keystone, Colorado (and weren’t sure if we were ready to come home). As sore as we are, we’re already looking to plan next year’s trip… so who’s coming with us??? Neither of us had been to that big of a mountain for snowboarding before. We were in awe over the sheer size of the resort, runs and lift rides. You think you can see the top from the base, until you got there and realize, “crap! we still have a long way to go…we’re only a quarter of the way up!!!” I’ll explain more about the trip along with the photos. So let’s get started!
Planes: A shot out the window as the sun started to rise on our plane ride in.

Trains: We always like to try and stand on the trams without holding on… a little game we play at other airports!

And Automobiles: I was really excited when we got the Yaris as our rental. We’ve wanted to test drive one (even though we’re not ready to buy) just because they look awesome. Conclusion – not bad at all!!! even for a bare-bones rental version.

The surroundings were beautiful!

Up the Gondola (the enclosed lift).

How cute is that girl?!!!

In the bottom right of this photo you can see a little structure. That wasn’t the village. It was La Bonte’s, a quick stop in between two of the mountain peaks. It was the best thing ever. They had lawn chairs and tables set out, music playing and lots of drinks to choose from. Everyone was just hanging out in between runs. I don’t think there’s a better way relax and recoup before the next slope.

We met up with Jennifer’s brother, Tom, for some slope action.

It had been years since Tom skied last… but that obviously didn’t slow him down any. (we thought the jump was shown best in time lapse)

Jennifer gives it two thumbs up!

And a time lapse of my own!

The next three shots were a little Valentine’s message for Jen.

This was the view from our room. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. The Gondola was less then a block away. And like I said before, where you see the top from here…is not actually the top!

They had some great places to eat in the village. This was our favorite. Best dish: the guacamole burger… holy yumness!

Okay, so I was trying to imitate a cover photo I’d seen on outdoor mag. I’m not sure if it worked, but it was still fun. Since my beard has been growing for a while, I wanted to try and get a bunch of snow/ice stuck to it. It sort of worked?

And how do you get that much snow on your face?… see below!

On our last day, we walked around the resort and had some photo fun.

My excitement after climbing the “plowed-parking-lot-snow-mountain.”

But there’s only one way down.

Jen’s reaction to an amazing weekend!

But no trip would be complete without a stop at the Coors Brewing Company. If you haven’t been on a brewery tour, I highly recommend it. Very interesting how your beloved beverage comes to be.

Here’s to Colorado!

We’re working on a video with some of the footage we took on the trip. Hopefully looking to be complete by the end of the week. We’ll post it as soon as we can.
Thanks again for stopping by. We’ll have more fun for you tomorrow!!!
