Kurtis and Jen!
Jen and I try to volunteer our photography services whenever we can to make sure that we’re always giving back and using our talents to help others. This is our second year covering the Tackling Homelessness event for the Horizon House, and we plan on doing it again next year! They do so much to help our our homeless neighbors get back on their feet. And this event is their big fundraiser. Imagine getting to hang out with several Colts players (in the Colts practice complex), get to hear Connersvine play original songs and covers, eat some great food including the amazing pulled pork, have a chance to walk away with tons of unique items (some signed by the Colts players), live auction led by Dallas Clark and the chance to help those in need all at the same time. Yeah, it’s a pretty amazing event! And here are the photos to go with…
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

When Christen suggested that we shoot their session at Oliver Winery, I was thinking a little drink is always good before a shoot to loosen up, but I guess I forgot just how beautiful the Oliver grounds are! What a perfect place for a shoot. But don’t take my word for it… see for yourself!

Seriously! with material like this, the camera pretty much just works itself!

Jen was tearing this shoot apart!!! The next three are her’s!

Jen again! blowing things up!!!

Christen and Chris – Thank you two so much for meeting us @ Oliver! We had a really good time talking/shooting/sharing a bottle! Hope you had a good time in bloomington. We look forward to the Wedding!!!

So you’ve already received a brief introduction into the evening of their Wedding (if not see post right below this one!… it’s real good!!!). Now it’s time to see how we got there. And if I remember, it all started…

Ga, Ga, Gorgeous!!!

Isn’t the Eiteljorg absolutely BEAUTIFUL?! Practicing their dance before the ceremony. An instant classic!

Practice makes perfect!

Steve’s father busted out an accordion for a couple polka songs… the crowd loved it!

DJ Indiana Jones.

Bringing a little Hautian flair into the ceremony. Yup, those ARE Square Donuts!!

Allison and Steve – Thank you so much for having us take part in your day. We had a blast with your family and friends. And obviously you did an amazing jobs on the props for the booth. The rest of the photos will be up this weekend. Thanks again, you two were great to work with!!!
And we need to give a quick shot out to the other amazing vendors -

YOU
WITH
THIS!
Even the security guard from the Eiteljorg joined in! Definitely an all time Booth favorite!

There’s plenty more to come from Allison and Steve’s Wedding. Tune in later this week to see images from the rest of the day!
Oh my goodness! This Wedding was amazing!!! It took place in two different small Illinois towns, but still had the flair of a big city wedding… big-beautiful church, big-beautiful limo, big-beautiful reception hall and an amazing couple. Tara and Tyler are great together. Their Wedding had us in tears for most of the day…mostly happy-laughing tears. We absolutely love how the images came out. Have a look and let us know what you think!

Isn’t Tara absolutely gorgeous!!!

The Ladies!

The Men!

Jen and I weren’t the only ones tearing up!

Congratulations!

You have to love the lion bench!!!

The reception hall was about 50 min. away from the church. And it doesn’t take long for 18 people to clear out the limo fridge!… so we made a pit stop. You know you’re no longer in Indiana when you can stop at a Casey’s General Store! Loved it!

And there was dancing!!!

And we’ll leave you with this last shot. One of my favorites!

Tara and Tyler – Thank you two so much for having us take part in your day. Your family and friends are amazing, and a lot of fun!!! We hope you two enjoyed the honeymoon. The rest of the images will be available shortly.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Kurtis.
